Job summary

Office Angels Limited is seeking a Temporary Financial Accountant for our eCommerce client in Leeds (LS15). The role is hybrid with 3 days on site and starts ASAP for a 6-month duration.

You will prepare and maintain financial records, assist with month-end and year-end closes, and produce management reports. Strong Excel and accounting software skills are essential, along with ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Experience preparing and posting journals.
• Strong understanding of balance sheets and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience supporting audits, particularly during peak audit periods.

Temporary Financial Accountant

Are you a talented financial accountant looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a dynamic eCommerce organisation based in LS15, Leeds, is seeking a skilled Temporary Financial Accountant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is an exciting chance to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and collaboration!

Position: Temporary Financial Accountant

Location: LS15, Leeds - hybrid - 3 days on site

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: ASAP - 6 months

Pay Rate: Up to £190 per day (dependant on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week (generally 9am-5:30pm)

Car parking available on site

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Producing financial reports and statements for management review
