Temporary Finance Operations Assistant

Immediate start date

37.5 hour working week

Hybrid model

£17 - £20 per hour plus holiday pay accrual

Our valued and long-standing client is looking for a Temporary Finance Operations Assistant to join their Finance Team during a busy period. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of an organisation within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure effective operation of the purchase ledger function and accurate recording of liabilities (registering invoices)
2. Process weekly payment runs
3. Perform daily treasury functions (bank reconciliations)
4. Assist with monthly sales invoicing to the industry
5. Assist with NCC scheme finance processes and other schemes (validate and approve applications)
6. Assist with the timely collection of debts and default process
7. Assist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations

Experience working in Accounts Payable is necessary. Knowledge of registering invoices, the Agresso system, payment runs, and daily bank reconciliations is paramount.
