Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join an organisation in Havant on a temporary basis. You will support the Finance Manager with daily transactional processing, reconciliations, and handling supplier and customer accounts.

The role is office-based and includes duties around cash flow, month-end tasks, record maintenance and contributing to audit readiness and process improvements. Strong Excel skills and experience in finance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally in a busy environment.
• Understanding of accounts payable and receivable and month-end close.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations and reconciliations.
• Manage supplier and customer accounts and resolve queries promptly.
• Assist with cash flow management, banking and month-end tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure compliance.
• Support audit readiness and process improvements.
