Job summary

Middlestown Primary Academy in Wakefield is seeking a temporary Class Teacher to join the Early Years Foundation Stage team until 31 August 2027. The post centres on planning and delivering high-quality EYFS learning, and assessing progress against the EYFS Framework.

The role emphasises building inclusive, stimulating learning environments, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and supporting phonics delivery and diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an appropriate degree.
• Full enhanced DBS check.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
