Job summary

Middlestown Primary Academy in Wakefield is seeking a talented Class Teacher to join our Early Years Foundation Stage on a temporary basis. You will deliver high-quality learning experiences and work collaboratively with colleagues to support every child to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will have QTS and strong EYFS knowledge, with an understanding of Development Matters and Birth to 5 Matters, and a commitment to phonics and inclusive teaching.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and degree
• Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework (Development Matters, Birth to 5 Matters)
• Excellent knowledge of teaching and learning strategies, curriculum planning and assessment for learning
• Experience delivering high-quality phonics provision is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff
