Express Recruitment are delighted to be working with a reputable housing firm seeking an experienced Electrician to join their responsive repairs team, delivering high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire in occupied properties.

You will have a company van, fuel card, mobile phone and uniform, with a full UK driving licence essential. Immediate start following interview and a focus on safety and customer service throughout.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent and relevant electrical qualifications.
• City & Guilds 2361 parts 1 & 2 and AM2 or equivalent.
• 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 239/1 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance across occupied residential properties.
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical fixtures, fittings and equipment.
• Complete testing and inspection work where required.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Complete job records and communicate updates to Management using a company mobile phone.
• Travel across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire as required using a company van.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a high standard at all times.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers within their homes.

Job description

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a reputable housing firm who are seeking an experienced Electrician to join their responsive repairs team, working on projects across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance services to customers within occupied residential properties. Previous experience working within social housing or domestic properties would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will also be provided with a company van to travel between properties and complete repairs efficiently, while providing an excellent level of customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician looking for a varied role within a high volume of residential properties. Our client is offering an immediate start following a successful interview, with a company van, fuel card, mobile phone and company uniform provided.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience working as a qualified Electrician within domestic, property maintenance or responsive repairs environments
• Relevant electrical qualifications and/or recognised industry certification
• Previous experience working within social housing or residential properties is desirable
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and safe working practices
• Full UK driving licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
