Job summary

NRL Recruitment seeks an experienced Temporary Electrics Package Manager to oversee all aspects of temporary electrical systems for a major construction development in Newcastle. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise installation and maintenance to ensure power supply and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification or engineering degree required.
• Experience managing temporary electrical installations on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and related regulations.
• Experience with site planning, logistics and integration of services.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage design, installation, and maintenance of temporary electrical systems on site.
• Ensure compliance with standards, health and safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and design consultants to align activities with milestones.
• Monitor and maintain temporary electrics to support construction activities.
• Inspect installations regularly and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, materials, and resources to deliver on time and within cost.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure proper certification and documentation.
