Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a temporary, days-based assignment in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will deliver and collect goods, perform handball duties, and keep accurate paperwork in a structured daily schedule.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, reliable and punctual performance, and the ability to work independently with professionalism and good communication.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Previous experience in an HGV Class 2 driving role.
• Confidence with handball work and manual handling.
• Good knowledge of road safety and driver responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Professional approach with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Completing deliveries and collections in line with the daily schedule.
• Loading, unloading and moving goods using handball techniques.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Providing a professional service at each delivery point.
• Following all relevant road safety, transport and site procedures.
