- Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Maintain high expectations and standards of learning, behaviour and presentation.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Adapt teaching to support all learners, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
- Create a positive, stimulating and well-managed classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
- Uphold safeguarding requirements and professional standards at all times. Demonstrate high expectations and a commitment to excellence for all pupils.
- Be an effective and reflective classroom practitioner.
- Have strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Be flexible, enthusiastic and committed to continuous improvement.
- Promote the school's values and contribute positively to school life.
- Experience of teaching in a primary school setting.
- Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
