JOB TITLE: Temporary Bookkeeper - Immediate Start

LOCATION: Honiton

HOURLY RATE: £15.00 per hour

HOURS: Monday - Friday, can accommodate part time or full time hours

We are recruiting for a methodical and thorough Bookkeeper to join a well-establised team based in Honiton, on a temporary basis, starting immediately for a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks. You will provide a variety of duties to ensure smooth running of the department throughout a busy period. Ideally you would have experience using Xero or similar accounting software experience to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax submissions
  • Generate financial reports for management
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping role
  • Well-organised and process driven
  • Experience within practice would be highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
