Job description

Temporary Sales Ledger Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Hourly Rate: £14.50

Location: Leith

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant to support their busy summer period.

Responsibilities:
  • Verifying receipt and alignment of sales orders with sales invoices
  • Reconciling remittance advices with sales invoices
  • Organising Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger documents
  • Overseeing the receipt of supplier invoices
  • Ensuring administrative submissions by Operations staff to Accounts are current
  • Performing general administrative tasks within the Accounts Department as needed
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and diligence
  • Experience with Sales Ledger or similar roles in an Accounts Department
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
