Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' van driving experience and customer-facing roles.
• Valid UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of UK road networks and geography.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver customer samples using a refrigerated van.
• Follow planned routes and collection schedules.
• Provide professional customer interaction at collection sites.
• Complete collection and delivery documentation accurately.
• Adhere to temperature control procedures and requirements.
• Report temperature variances and vehicle issues promptly.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Drive safely, legally and courteously at all times.
• Use in-cab technology and operational systems as required.
• Represent Intertek professionally and uphold company values.
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Comply with all training, quality, accreditation and health & safety requirements.
