Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Yard Operative for a client in Northampton NN5 on a temporary holiday cover basis. The role involves hands-on yard work outdoors and supporting day-to-day operations in a busy yard.

You will perform general yard maintenance, assist with manual handling, and help keep the yard clean, safe, and organised. Suitable candidates are physically fit, reliable and able to work in all weather conditions; previous yard or warehouse experience is advantageous.

Yard Operative Required - Northampton NN5

Location: Northampton NN5
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Role: Temporary Holiday Cover

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our client based in Northampton NN5 on a temporary holiday cover basis.

This is a hands‑on role working outdoors, supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a busy yard.

Duties Include:

• General yard maintenance
• Manual handling duties
• Keeping the yard clean, safe and organised
• Assisting with general site duties as required

Requirements:

• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Reliable and hardworking
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous yard, labouring or warehouse experience would be advantageous
• No FLT licence required

Holiday Cover Required:

• 14th September to 30th September
• 21st September to 25th September
