Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Treasury Assistant to join the fast-paced treasury team on a temporary basis in Wolverhampton. You will process branch banking, payments and reconciliations, helping maintain accurate ledgers across the network.

The role involves close collaboration with branch teams, posting to the accounting system and ensuring timely bank reconciliations. Strong Excel and finance admin experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Finance administration experience with accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficient in MS Excel and aligning ledger postings.
• Comfortable communicating with branch teams by phone.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily branch banking to till control reports for many branches.
• Identify and resolve banking discrepancies with branch management.
• Post nominal ledger transactions and liaise with ledgers colleagues.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and support group processes.
• Assist with branch PDQ machine maintenance and payments.
• Raise adhoc payments using AccessPay / Barclay iPortal.
• Perform other duties as required by the line manager.
