Job summary

Distinct Recruitment is recruiting a Treasury Assistant to join its finance team in the United Kingdom. You will support day-to-day banking and cash activities, process payments and reconcile accounts, and help with cash forecasting within a Treasury environment.

The role suits someone with solid finance experience who wants to develop in Treasury, with exposure to intercompany transactions and banking systems.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent finance background.
• Experience in a finance or accounting environment.
• Treasury, cash management or banking processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular reconciliations of UK bank accounts and investigate differences.
• Process banking and payment transactions accurately within timescales.
• Manage intercompany cash transfers and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with monitoring cash positions and bank balances.
• Support foreign currency transactions and other daily Treasury needs.
• Maintain accurate records of banking and Treasury activities.
• Prepare data for financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams and banks to resolve queries.
• Follow financial controls and approval processes.
• Suggest improvements to Treasury processes and efficiency.
• Support the wider Finance team as required.
