Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited are recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join their client in Penley on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with an hourly rate of £12.71.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, detail‑oriented and able to work in a team with initiative. Duties include assembling parts per SOPs, inspecting items for defects, moving components between stations and logging production data.

Qualifications

• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small or repetitive parts.
• Attention to detail to follow precise instructions and maintain quality.
• Teamwork and communication to work smoothly with other workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Combine individual pieces and parts following standard operating procedures.
• Inspect parts and finished items to spot defects or faults, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Move components between workstations and keep the production area tidy and safe.
• Log production numbers, material use, and any damaged items.
