Job summary

Gap personnel are recruiting for Assembly Operatives in Swindon to join a well-established packaging company. The role requires a practical candidate with good English and production experience, and PC literacy is an added advantage. Pay is £12.85 per hour on the AM shift; candidates with good attendance and strong work ethic may secure ongoing opportunities beyond peak time.

Qualifications

• Must have good English written and spoken.
• Production experience is advantageous.
• PC literacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate and oversee production machinery
• Load raw materials into machines following production timelines
• Conduct quality inspections on final products to ensure they meet specifications
• Pack finished goods, ready for shipment
• Keep the work area organized and follow health and safety protocols
• Notify supervisor promptly of any machine malfunctions or quality concerns
