Job summary

Career Moves is partnering with a leading international professional services business to recruit an experienced Senior Management Accountant. This temporary role offers the chance to own month-end reporting, multi-entity consolidations, group reporting and project accounting in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with senior finance leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive month-end excellence, and support business performance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE.
• Proven month-end close and management accounts experience.
• Strong multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Experience with foreign currency accounting and international reporting.
• Understanding of project accounting, revenue recognition and WIP.
• Solid balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience in professional services or multi-site businesses.
• Proficient with ERP/finance systems; quick to adapt.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Available at short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close process and prepare management accounts.
• Post month-end journals: accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide variance analysis and commentary on key movements.
• Support multi-entity reporting, consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage foreign currency accounting including revaluations.
• Assist with group reporting packs for senior management.
• Support project accounting: revenue, costs and WIP reporting.
• Contribute to audit requests and strengthen financial controls.
• Help the wider finance team address backlogs and process improvements.
