Forge Talent is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the Sales Ledger function on a temporary basis in Stockport. The role involves processing invoices, allocating payments and managing debt for an international customer base.

You will work closely with Finance and Sales teams, ensuring accuracy of customer accounts and timely cash collection. Strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity are essential for success in this busy environment.

Competenze

• Experience as Accounts Assistant, Sales Ledger or Credit Control.
• Strong invoicing, credit notes, payment allocation and debt collection knowledge.
• Excellent Excel and ERP system experience.

Mansioni

• Process customer invoices, credit notes and sales ledger transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor customer accounts, allocate incoming payments and investigate unallocated receipts.
• Proactively manage outstanding debt, issue reminders and follow up overdue balances.
• Work with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve account discrepancies and queries.
• Maintain accurate sales ledger records, reconciliations and supporting documentation; identify process improvements.
