Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd is seeking an experienced Payroller to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis in Lancashire. The role requires strong payroll experience and the ability to hit the ground running, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time while supporting employees with payroll queries.

You will handle starters, leavers and amendments, manage PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions, and collaborate with HR and the wider finance team.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.
• Confident using Excel and payroll systems.
• Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Managing starters, leavers and employee amendments.
• Processing PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions.
• Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies.
• Completing payroll reconciliations and reports.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
• Working closely with HR and the wider finance team.
• Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation.
