Job summary

RGB in Exeter is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temporary contract running until 31 December 2026. The role is 37 hours per week, starting ASAP, with a pay rate of between £14.17 and £14.70 per hour.

Key duties include processing supplier invoices, assisting with purchase ledgers and payment runs, and resolving supplier queries. The ideal candidate has prior finance experience and strong IT skills to support efficient transaction processing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in finance or financial administration.
• Strong attention to detail and IT skills.
• Good understanding of accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and within deadlines.
• Support purchase ledger activities and payment runs.
• Handle supplier queries.
• Assist with reconciliations.
• Raise sales invoices and allocate incoming payments.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
