Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting an experienced and reliable Chef to support a busy catering operation in the Beaconsfield area. This temporary role offers daytime hours from 7:30am to 3:00pm and requires an Enhanced DBS for the Child Workforce.

You will work with fresh ingredients, maintain high standards, and deliver quality food in a professional catering environment. You’ll join an established team and help ensure food safety, presentation, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
• A good understanding of food safety and allergen management.
• The ability to work independently and remain organised during busy service periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, flexible, and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh meals to a high standard
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed
• Managing stock effectively and minimising waste where possible
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Working as part of a kitchen team to deliver a consistent and professional service
