Job summary

Qualifications

• General understanding of environmental issues and sustainability.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in an environmental or science-related field.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shared inboxes and allocate external and internal queries.
• Support data collection and site visits, including air quality monitoring.
• Lead on environmental assessments for low-risk river works licences.
• Coordinate projects and reorganise department files on SharePoint.
• Save and upload environmental data to databases and team folders.
• Respond to public and internal enquiries via inboxes.
• Provide general support to the Sustainability and Net Zero team.
