Job summary

Simon Acres Group in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Telesales Manager to lead and develop a six-strong telesales team, converting high-quality enquiries into appointments for nationwide field sales.

You'll coach, monitor performance and implement initiatives to improve conversion rates, productivity and customer engagement, while maintaining excellent service. The role reports to senior leadership and offers a basic salary of 37,500 with a quarterly bonus and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• ≥3 years in a telesales environment.
• ≥5 years leading and developing sales teams.
• History of achieving sales targets and performance objectives.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and leadership skills.
• Experience implementing performance improvement strategies.
• Thrives in a fast-moving sales environment.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of telesales professionals to meet KPIs.
• Create a high-performance culture through coaching and performance management.
• Recruit, induct and develop new team members while supporting existing colleagues.
• Introduce initiatives to improve conversion rates, productivity and engagement.
• Monitor performance through reporting, call quality reviews and KPI analysis.
• Ensure appointments generated for nationwide design consultants are qualified.
• Manage workloads, staffing levels and daily priorities to maximise performance.
• Work with senior management to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Maintain exceptional customer service across every interaction.
