Job summary

A specialist recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a Business Development Executive for a hybrid role. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with businesses to promote apprenticeships and will work towards achieving key performance indicators. Experience in B2B lead generation and confidence with CRM systems are essential. The salary offered is between £32,000 and £35,000 plus bonuses.

Job Title: Business Development Executive (Apprenticeships / WBL)

Job Details

Location: Hybrid – Home and Office

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 + Bonus

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Duties
  • Utilising telesales, networking and social media to proactively identify and engage with businesses, to promote our client’s portfolio of services (Apprenticeships / professional learning solutions).
  • Respond to inbound and outbound enquiries, in a timely manner.
  • Researching new markets and businesses, speaking with key decision makers, identifying opportunities for the field-based sales team.
  • Manage own daily output using our client’s internal CRM system.
  • Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.
  • Work to achieve and exceed agreed weekly / monthly KPI’s.
Essential Criteria
  • Must have experience of working within a business-to-business or lead generation role, ideally within the work-based learning industry (though this is not essential).
  • Experience of working towards and achieving targets / KPI’s.
  • Confident with, and have experience in using CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident, friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to overcome objections.
