Job summary

Vero HR Ltd is recruiting an experienced Telesales Advisor to join a well-established Plymouth team. You will handle outbound calls and respond to customer queries about orders and products, providing an excellent service to both new and existing customers.

Working closely with the field sales team, you will upsell, manage customer expectations and help develop new business accounts while maintaining a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or telesales role.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills with MS Office.
• Live within a commutable distance to the depot based in Plymouth.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to new and existing customers and handle inbound queries about orders and products.
• Upsell where appropriate and maximise opportunities while managing customer expectations.
• Work closely with the field sales team to develop new business accounts and maintain high service levels.

We are the internal recruitment partner working with a well-established independent, family-owned enterprise that has been a cornerstone in the UK's foodservice distribution sector for nearly five decades.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Telesales Advisor to join the well-established team in Plymouth.

The successful Telesales Advisor will provide an excellent service to new and existing customers, making outbound calls, and receiving incoming calls dealing with customer queries regarding orders and products.

You will be speaking to an existing client base and maximising opportunities to up-sell whilst managing customer expectations.

Working closely with the field sales team, you will develop new business accounts whilst providing an excellent level of service.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience within a sales or telesales role.
• Good IT skills with experience of MS Office
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload.
• Confident, professional & resilient
• Live within a commutable distance to the depot based in Plymouth.

• A competitive salary of £25,350 per year (£13 per hour), with the potential to earn up to an additional £3,000 in commission.
• No weekends – Monday to Friday 9am -5pm.
