Job summary

Sheffield City Council is recruiting for a senior telephony and digital services specialist to shape and deliver enhancements across the Storm Contact Centre and associated mobile device, Intune and Teams telephony platforms.

You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, develop mobile device builds, and lead complex integrations while ensuring security and accessibility standards are met.

Qualifications

• Advanced telephony development, configuration and administration.
• Experience developing Mobile Device management builds on Intune.
• Proficiency in system integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Storm Contact Centre telephony and Microsoft Teams telephony.
• Lead complex Corporate Telephony development, configuration and support.
• Develop advanced digital services using Telephony platform tools and Google Dialogflow.
• Design, build and support integrations between internal and external IT systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across call treatments.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliverables.
• Manage developments through planning, build, testing, implementation and post-deployment support.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, accessibility and data protection.
