Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking an Information Systems Team Manager Telephony to lead the team responsible for the Council's Mobile Device Service, Storm Corporate Telephony platform and related digital services. The role supports frontline delivery, staff connectivity and resident interactions across multiple channels.

• Experience leading telephony/digital service teams.
• Proven ability to align IT delivery with service improvement.
• Knowledge of security, accessibility and governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for support, development and continuous improvement of the Mobile Device Service and Storm Telephony platform.
• Oversee development pipeline, platform performance, support arrangements, risks and dependencies.
• Plan, prioritise and allocate resources across support, development, transformation and improvement activities.
• Collaborate with other Managers to manage priorities and shared resources.
• Build team capability through performance management and coaching.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide oversight to ensure security, data protection and architectural standards.
• Drive service improvements and automate where possible.
• Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for efficiency.
