In this role as a Telemetry Field Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and availability of Severn Trent’s 7,000 telemetry outstations, which serve as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the company’s operational assets.
A covering letter confirming you have the qualifications needed or equivalent would be advisable for this role
For this role, you must have an Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
These outstations are critical to the performance of Severn Trent’s operational ODIs and enable the Operational Control Centres to respond effectively to asset failure alarms. Your primary objective will be to complete field work to ensure the entire outstation estate remains fully operational and available 100% of the time.

To succeed, you should have excellent fault-finding skills and prior knowledge of telemetry outstations. Experience with WITS compliant devices and IP-enabled devices would be advantageous.
