Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Location and Hours:

Location: Field based with close links to In-Situ facilities in St Austell Cornwall or Redditch Worcestershire

Full-time/permanent and On-Site, Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17:00 and Friday 08:30 to 12:30

General Accountability

Partech is an In-Situ owned company and is a leading supplier of water quality measurement equipment. We have an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer in our Service and Aftersales department. We are looking to find an enthusiastic person to join our highly successful company, to work on our high-tech products.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing excellent service to our customers on their own sites and supporting our Factory Service Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Routine planned servicing and preventative maintenance of colorimetric analysers and water quality probes.
  • Installation, commissioning and repair of products on site.
  • Customer product and application training.
  • Promotion of In-Situ service offerings to customers.
  • Management of service inventory, tools and site consumables and general administration.
  • Assess, test and diagnose sensitive instrumentation (level sensors, pH, conductivity, turbidity etc) as well as telemetry devices.
  • Telephone and Email Support.
  • Other duties as required to support other divisions of the business.
Education

ICA trade qualification or equivalent, OR hands-on experience of instrumentation and control products in a field environment AND related qualifications.

Certifications

Full UK Driving License (No Convictions).

  • Experience of delivering world-class customer service.
  • Knowledge of chemical analysis and handling.
  • Experience of colorimetric analysers in wastewater treatment, drinking water, environmental monitoring or laboratory environment.
  • Commercial mindset, lead generation and ability to network.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills – writing reports.
  • Customer service driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated with capacity to independently further knowledge of In-Situ related technologies.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 25 KG.
