Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Footprint Manager - Telematics to lead a team of risk analysts across Leicester, London and other hybrid sites. You will drive profitable growth by expanding the Telematics footprint, refining underwriting risk, and delivering data-driven portfolio decisions.

The role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder management, and pricing/analytics experience in the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to expand competitive Telematics footprint and rectify unprofitable segments.
• Develop and deliver innovative approaches to manage underwriting risk in new footprints.
• Analyze risk using loss ratios and KPIs to shape portfolio decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of risk analysts and provide coaching.
• Engage stakeholders to influence growth strategies and ensure customer interests.
• Ensure fair outcomes and challenge processes that don't meet standards.
