Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Home Risk Pricing Manager to lead a team in achieving profit and growth targets for home insurance. The position involves analysing data sources to improve risk pricing and supporting the team through coaching and mentoring.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general insurance, experience with coding (preferably Python), and excellent communication skills. Competitive salary along with various benefits including flexible hybrid working and annual leave options.

Qualifications

• Strong general insurance background or knowledge preferred.
• Strong analysis and coding experience.
• Experience with Python or other programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2 analysts to achieve profit and growth targets for home insurance.
• Analyse data to identify opportunities for improving risk pricing.
• Develop and deliver new insights and integrate new data.

Skills

Strong general insurance background or knowledge preferred

Strong analysis and coding experience

Python preferred, but experience with other programming languages acceptable

Comfortable working with and analysing numerical/statistical data

Good written and verbal communication skills
