We are seeking a proactive and customer focused Telemarketer to join our busy marketing team. The purpose of this role is to follow up sales and marketing campaigns, calling a mix of new and existing customers, to increase market, product and services awareness, book appointments and generate leads.

This is a fast-paced, customer facing role which the successful candidate expected to deliver exceptional levels of service and meet targets consistently. If you have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a proactive mindset, we want to hear from you!

Key responsibilities of this role:
  • To achieve call, appointment and lead generation targets.
  • Promote and sell the Talk Straight portfolio of Connectivity, Firewall, Filtering, Wide Area Network and VOIP services, solutions and products.
  • Work with marketing and sales to implement and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Share new/key information with the wider marketing and sales team to support colleagues in their efforts.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the education market in order to build credibility with new and existing customers.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs on marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Provide daily and weekly updates on campaign performance to the Head of Marketing.
  • Create, update and maintain CRM contact records, logging all activity.

We offer hybrid working to promote a healthy work/life balance, working remotely and attending our Ilkley office 3 days per week. Therefore you will need to be within a reasonable commute of this office.

Requirements

  • Pleasant, clear and articulate telephone manner.
  • Confident in speaking with high level contacts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
  • Flexible can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Results orientated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
  • Self-motivated and good planning / organisational skills.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Successful applicants will have to undergo a basic DBS check.
  • 1 year experience in any of the following is preferred: Telemarketing, Sales, Telesales, Lead Generation, Business Development.
  • Starting salary £24,570 pa.
  • Performance related bonus.
