Job summary

Hargreaves Industrial Services is seeking Telehandler Operators for our Yorkshire Water contract, based around Sheffield and Wakefield. The role will involve operating telehandlers, loading trucks with buckets, and ensuring safe, efficient movements across sites.

Candidates should hold a valid tele-handler license, be comfortable with site safety rules, and able to work nights or weekends when required. The job offers full-time hours, 40 per week, and travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of site safety standards.
• Experience operating centrifuges and poly make-up plant & conveyors.
• Comply with site rules & safety procedures.
• Undertake site-specific training as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandlers and use bucket to load trucks.
• Monitor equipment for safe and efficient operation; act on abnormalities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and on equipment.
• Carry out daily checks on equipment and report defects.
• Monitor product throughput.
• Perform tasks like greasing and preventative maintenance.
