Job summary

Carbon 60, Inc. is seeking a Telehandler Driver (CPCS) for a major project in North Tawton, Devon. The role involves unloading and distributing materials and assisting with installation work at a food production facility.

You must hold a current CPCS Telehandler with boom licence and have experience operating a rough terrain telehandler (9m boom, Merlo P72.10). Competitive hourly rate £19–£25 PAYE/CIS on a minimum 4-month contract.

Telehandler Driver - CPCS

North Tawton, Devon, EX20 2EB

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm

Contract Position: Minimum 4 months leading to further work

The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for Telehandler Driver CPCS to join the company supporting a major project in North Tawton, Devon.

Duties

As an experienced and suitably qualified Telehandler Driver CPCS you will be working on site at a food production facility in North Tawton, Devon. This is a major contract to remove and re install process pipework and equipment and forms part of a larger construction project. The primary duties will be to safely unload and distribute as necessary; all new process equipment and pipe spools delivered to site. Specific items will include high value pumps, motors, valve sets and one-off pieces of specialist equipment. Other duties will include assisting fitters with basic installation works, typically tightening bolts, painting pipework and installing pipework. Full training will be given for these other aspects of the job.

About You

Based ideally in North Tawton, Devon you will need to live within a commutable distance of EX20 2EB.

Demonstrable experience of operating a rough terrain telescopic forklift with 9m boom. The machine you'll be driving will most likely be a 9.55m Merlo P72.10 Telehandler 7200kg.

Current in date CPCS Telehandler with boom licence is required for this role.
