Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator in the United Kingdom to join a busy site on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will operate the telehandler, load and move materials, and work closely with the team while adhering to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a crew. The role involves daily equipment checks and manual handling as required.

We’re looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join our client’s busy team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 6pm-3am or 9am-6pm.

The Role

• Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
• Safely placing and positioning materials as required
• Carrying out daily equipment checks
• Following site health & safety procedures at all times
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Assisting with general site duties when required
• Carrying out manual handling, including lifting and moving materials

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous telehandler operating experience
• Is confident and competent operating a telehandler
• Has a strong understanding of site health & safety
• Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Can work well as part of a team
• Is looking for a long-term opportunity
