Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator for a busy site in Grantham on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, with a focus on safe operation and efficient material handling.

The role requires prior telehandler experience, a solid understanding of site health and safety, and the physical ability to handle manual tasks. You will join a collaborative team and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

We’re looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join our client’s busy team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-6pm.

The Role

• Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
• Safely placing and positioning materials as required
• Carrying out daily equipment checks
• Following site health & safety procedures at all times
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Assisting with general site duties when required
• Carrying out manual handling, including lifting and moving materials

• Has previous telehandler operating experience
• Is confident and competent operating a telehandler
• Has a strong understanding of site health & safety
• Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Can work well as part of a team
