Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking a Telehandler Operator for a 3-day on-site booking at Pimlico, SW1 (21st to 23rd September 2026). The role involves safe telehandler operation, material movement, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

You will be responsible for daily checks, coordinating with trades and site management, and maintaining clean, safe working conditions on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Experience operating telehandlers on construction sites.
• Full PPE and understanding of site health and safety.
• Available for all 3 days (21st–23rd Sep 2026).

TELEHANDLER OPERATOR REQUIRED - PIMLICO, SW1

We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a construction site in Pimlico, SW1 for a short-term booking.

JOB DETAILS

Location: Pimlico, SW1
Position: Telehandler Operator
Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026
Finish Date: Wednesday 23rd September 2026
Duration: 3 days
Start Time: 8:00am

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating the telehandler on site and assisting with the movement of materials and equipment around the construction site.

Duties will include:

• Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently
• Moving and positioning materials around site
• Loading and unloading materials when required
• Assisting trades and site management with material movements
• Carrying out daily plant checks
• Following site lifting and traffic management procedures
• Maintaining safe working distances from pedestrians and other plant
• Working in accordance with site health and safety requirements
• Keeping the machine and working area clean and safe

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
• Relevant category/ticket for the machine being operated
• Full PPE
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to commit to all 3 days

This is a 3-day booking, starting Monday 21st September and finishing Wednesday 23rd September, with an 8:00am start.
