Job summary

Fawkes & Reece on a Chailey site is seeking a Telehandler to support a well-established regional developer focused on high-end unit construction. The role covers material transport to designated areas, loading/unloading from trucks, pallet handling, load security checks, pallet stacking, and routine equipment maintenance.

Based in Chailey, the contract is full-time on-site with ongoing opportunities. Candidates will need a valid CPCS/NPORS/CSCS card and experience on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to/from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods on pallets or in crates.
• Check loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks (charge battery, lubricate equipment).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material.

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
