Overview

Are you a skilled and certified telehandler driver looking for immediate, short-term work? We\'re seeking a reliable professional to join our team on a busy new build housing site in South Otterington. If you\'re available to step in and help keep our project running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to move various construction materials (e.g., bricks, timber, roofing supplies) across the site.
• Delivering materials promptly and precisely to different trades and work areas as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.
• Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of incoming deliveries, coordinating with transport teams.
• Performing daily machine checks to ensure safe operation before use, and reporting any issues immediately.
• Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing a safe working environment.
• Communicating effectively with site management, banksmen, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a telehandler driver, ideally with a background in new build housing sites.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo.
• Possesses excellent operating skills and a strong awareness of their surroundings in a busy construction environment.
• Is reliable, punctual, and has a proactive approach to their work.
• Is committed to maintaining high safety standards on site at all times.
• Full UK driving licence.
