Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Telehandler Driver for a one-week holiday cover on a fast-paced new build site in Lichfield. The role requires operating a telescopic handler, unloading wagons, and supplying trades with materials from 7:30 AM.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Driver for a one-week holiday cover assignment on a fast-paced new build housing development in Lichfield.

You will be playing a crucial role in keeping the site moving safely and efficiently – handling material deliveries, unloading wagons, supplying various trades with materials, and maintaining an organized compound.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a telescopic handler safely and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced housing site environment.
• Unloading deliveries from suppliers and offloading materials safely across the development.
• Supplying bricklayers, carpenters, and other site trades with materials as required.
• Assisting the Site Manager with general site logistics and maintaining compound safety.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS Card (with CSCS logo) (Essential).
• Experience: Proven track record operating telehandlers on busy, fast-paced new build residential/housing sites.
• Safety: Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots) and a sharp awareness of site safety.
• Locality: Must be able to commute reliably to Lichfield for a 7:30 AM start.
