Job summary

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is seeking a proactive Telefundraising Executive to help fund vital services for people with sight loss. You will engage supporters through outbound calls, drive income targets and ensure a first-class supporter experience across campaigns such as Sponsor A Puppy, Lottery and Legacy.

Working 35 hours per week, you’ll be based in Reading with occasional travel to the office and training sessions.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Experience in call centre, customer service, sales or marketing.
• Proven track record in a targets-driven telemarketing environment.
• Experience using databases.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Confident and friendly phone manner with good rapport-building.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound fundraising calls to supporters and potential supporters to achieve individual and team targets.
• Maximise income generation and minimise attrition while maintaining supporter satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality practices.
• Represent Guide Dogs across campaigns (Sponsor A Puppy, Lucky Lottery, Gift Aid, Legacy) and articulate the charity's vision.
• Provide feedback on campaigns to improve performance and income potential.
• Support training of colleagues and contribute to team goals and direction.
