Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking SISS Design Engineers for London-based rail projects. The role covers design and development of Station Information and Surveillance Systems across rail schemes, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-quality designs.

You will focus on CCTV, PA/PAVA, Help Points, Access Control, CIS, and general station communications systems, contributing to design reviews and technical meetings in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SISS designs within the UK rail sector.
• Design experience of rail communications and security systems.
• Understanding of UK Railway standards and design processes.
• Ability to contribute to or independently produce design deliverables.

SISS Design Engineers required

We are recruiting for SISS Design Engineers at all levels to support the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects based in London. We are keen hear from candidates at all levels, from junior and intermediate engineers through to experienced senior designers.

The key requirement is experience delivering SISS design within a UK railway environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the design and development of Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS) across a range of rail projects, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality designs.

Systems may include:

• CCTV/VSS/PTZs
• Public Address (PA/PAVA)
• Help Points
• Access Control
• Customer Information Systems (CIS)
• General Station communications systems

Responsibilities

• Produce SISS designs and associated documentation.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and design calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant railway industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
