Matchtech is seeking a Senior / Lead SISS Telecoms Engineer to join our rail telecoms team. The role offers hybrid working from Basingstoke, Ipswich, or London and a salary around £55,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years' experience within rail telecoms engineering.

Senior / Lead SISS Telecoms Engineer

Basingstoke, Ipswich or London (Hybrid Working)
Permanent - Salary CIRCA £55,000 + Benefits - dependant on experience

We're supporting a growing rail engineering consultancy looking to appoint a Senior / Lead SISS Telecoms Engineer to join their expanding rail team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced telecoms professional to work across a diverse portfolio of major UK rail infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and delivering telecoms solutions from concept through to detailed design and project delivery. You'll work with systems including SISS, CCTV, PA, CIS, Help Points, Access Control, Structured Cabling and IP Network Infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading telecoms design and engineering activities across multiple rail projects
• Acting as the technical authority for SISS and telecoms systems

What We're Looking For

Desirable:

• Lead Engineer, CRE or Design Lead experience
• Knowledge of PACE, GRIP or similar delivery methodologies
• Chartership or working towards professional registration
• Experience supporting bids and client development activities
