Job summary

Armstrong Talent Partners is seeking a Project Manager to join our busy PMO. You will deliver customer-facing projects of varying size and complexity, working with experienced Project Managers and internal teams.

You will gain full lifecycle project management experience while managing your own projects, budgets, reporting, and stakeholder communication. The role requires experience with WAN/SD-WAN, LAN, IP, or Security services and PRINCE2 or willingness to obtain certification.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects across WAN/SD-WAN, LAN, IP or Security services.
• PRINCE2 certification or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience supporting complex project delivery or managing customer expectations.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Great working knowledge of MS Office tools - Excel, Teams, Word; MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Public Sector customers.
• Understanding of Public Sector procurement and frameworks.
• Experience working with major carrier suppliers such as BT Wholesale, Openreach, Virgin Media, Neos Networks, or Gamma.
• Manage delivery of customer projects and study workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans and track progress across streams.
• Review and monitor customer deliverables and contractual requirements.
• Manage project governance, including change control and managing exceptions.
• Reporting of project budgets and progress.
• Produce PID, Project Plans, RAID logs, and status updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
• Manage day-to-day project tasks including risks, issues, dependencies, and resource coordination.
• Own project P&L monitoring and performance tracking.
• Manage bid implementation plans aligning with proposals, contracts, and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern multiple project workstreams and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs and status updates.
• Provide governance updates and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate risks, issues and dependencies across teams.
• Monitor and report on project P&L and delivery milestones.
