Job summary

Peaple Talent is partnering with a growing telecommunications and connectivity business to deliver large-scale network, voice, and security solutions across the public sector. The Project Manager will lead customer-facing projects across Local Government, Education and Central Government environments.

The role focuses on delivery excellence, stakeholder engagement, and managing multiple project streams in a hybrid Marlow setup. PRINCE2 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex customer projects in a public sector context.
• Experience managing large WAN/LAN/IP or security projects.
• Ability to manage project budgets, reporting and financial performance.
• Ability to develop and maintain detailed cross-workstream project plans.
• Experience managing customer contracts and ensuring deliverables are met.
• Strong stakeholder management with executive-level engagement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• PRINCE2 certification or willingness to achieve it.

Responsibilities

Peaple Talent is partnering with a growing telecommunications and connectivity business that delivers large-scale network, voice, and security solutions across the public sector. As the organisation continues its growth journey, they are looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of customer-facing projects across Local Government, Education, and Central Government environments.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment, managing multiple project streams, driving delivery excellence, and building strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a Project Manager role delivering complex customer projects
• Demonstrable experience managing large-scale WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, IP, or security projects
• Experience managing project budgets, reporting, and financial performance
• Ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans across multiple workstreams
• Experience managing customer contracts and ensuring contractual deliverables are achieved
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at executive level
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• PRINCE2 certification or willingness to work towards it.

Nice to Have

• Experience working within public sector procurement frameworks
• Knowledge of SIP, telephony, Microsoft Teams-based routing, internet connectivity, or content filtering solutions
• Experience working with carrier providers including BT Wholesale, Openreach, Virgin Media, Neos Networks, or Gamma
• Experience within telecommunications, networking, or managed services environments
