Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a Power Performance Specialist to optimise site power systems across the MAST portfolio. You will design and assess power solutions, analyse performance data, and drive uptime, resilience, and cost efficiency while aligning with standards and tenant needs.

You will develop upgrade plans for rectifiers, batteries, generators, and hybrids; collaborate with operations and engineering teams to implement practical improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in telecommunications.
• Experience with telecom site power systems (rectifiers, batteries, generators).
• Experience in technical analysis, performance optimisation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Power performance engineering: review power requirements for co-location and site upgrades; provide guidance and approval for power solutions.
• Power performance optimisation: analyse site power performance using RMS and data; identify gaps and optimisation opportunities; develop site-specific plans.
• Technical assessments: analyse site surveys and reports to determine condition and risk; identify issues with rectifier loading, battery autonomy, generator performance, cooling and power quality.
• Compliance and risk: ensure interventions meet standards and safety requirements; support audits and corrective actions; contribute to governance.
