Job summary

Careium is hiring a Telecare Field Technician to install, maintain and repair telecare equipment in customers’ homes across Cumbria. This field-based role requires travel, independent work and strong customer service.

You will work Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm with a rotating on-call rota in evenings and weekends, including bank holidays. A company vehicle is provided, with DBS clearance and a full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties evenings and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to pass Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair telecare equipment in customers' homes.
• Travel across Cumbria and nearby areas.
• Provide clear guidance on equipment use to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records using company systems.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and lone-working procedures.
• Support customers during on-call rota outside normal hours.
