Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Solutions Architect for the AWS Telco Business Unit in London. You will work with major European telecom operators, delivering AI-driven prototypes and shaping cloud strategies.

The role combines advisory leadership with hands-on development across agentic AI and cloud-native telco workloads. You will own end-to-end technical relationships, drive AI-enabled software development life cycles, and accelerate deal cycles through tangible, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes in customer non-production sandbox environments using AI-augmented development tools.
• Pair-program with customer teams, embedding with their engineers during time-boxed sprints to accelerate AI adoption.
• Write high-quality sample code for proof-of-concepts, demos, and sample applications spanning generative AI architectures and telco workloads.
• Design and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation) in customer sandbox environments.
