Job summary

Northern LGPS in the United Kingdom is building a new investment reporting and data governance function to serve partner funds, the Board and regulators. The role reports to the Head of Investment Operations and leads a small team, shaping standards and governance across investment data and reporting practices.

You will own quarterly reporting packs, data ownership, and governance across multiple legacy fund practices, with a hybrid working model and offices in Bradford, Manchester or Liverpool.

Qualifications

• Experience producing institutional or client investment reporting.
• Experience overseeing outsourced performance measurement or reporting.
• Knowledge of investment data, including security, entity, benchmarks and classification data.
• Understanding of investment book of record vs accounting book of record.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly partner fund reporting packs and disclosure support.
• Manage reporting calendar, cut-offs and dependencies across functions.
• Ensure external reports have four-eyes review and sign-off.
• Own monthly Board/committee management information and cross-functional MI.
• Oversee outsourced performance measurement and validate outputs.
• Maintain investment data catalogue with definitions, owners and lineage.
• Designate golden sources and document source of record for positions and valuations.
• Monitor data quality rules, thresholds and daily exception handling.
• Lead reporting platform ownership with IT Investment Applications Lead.
• Help build governance across Regulatory Operations and Compliance.
